Mickey Smith Wins at the New York Surf Film Festival

Mickey Smith's Relentless Short Stories Project Has won the
Short Stories Category of the 2010 New York Surf Film Festival with his
inspirational effort 'Dark Side Of The Lense'.

The Surf Film Festival showcases some of the biggest and best film
makers in the business from across the surfing world. The awards
ceremony held in New York are known to many surfing film makers as the
ultimate right-of-passage into surf documentary recognition.

Cornish born Mickey Smith was blown away by the award. His feature 
'Dark Side Of The Lense' was his most intimate piece yet to date. 
Darkside was was an entry from the Relentless Short Stories contest, a competion
that was launced this year to recognise the film industries true talents.
Five Directors were assigned to deliver short stories in a five minute episode
with the same task to produce "No Half Measures" By Relentless, In which
Mickey Smith took to a new level in 'The Dark Side Of The Lense'. 
 

Say hello to the new X Games Venue!

As from July 29 the long awaited action sports event of the year the X Games, will be celebrating its 16th annual event downtown in L.A between the STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre, the Los Angeles Coliseum and L.A. LIVE. This years event will be the seventh consecutive year that it has been hosted in Los Angeles.
